Bound Together....like sound and music...like flowers and rain...down the years on a thousand highways...we'll find each other, time and time again....

WE NEVER FORGET

It was 17 years ago, the heavy fog that morning hung like a great white robe all around us and our world became so small. It was just us; that's all there was. Us, the house, the barn, the corn crib and then you leaving across the lawn beneath the trees. Somewhere hidden behind that drapery of fog breathed the rest of the world. And it was those same trees where a HOST of birds gathered and from the bottom of their hearts poured out an incredible Requiem. Truly, the glorious music filled the air to capacity. There was no other sound for a long long time. It was a moving, captivating and most perfect scene to the conclusion of your story, Mom. And now, those same sights, those sounds and smells are as vivid as yesterday. Much has happened in the past 17 years, but today we look up and render special thoughts of you and hold dear the many blessed memories we made together. So many memories.

We loved you then, we love you now, we'll love you always.

Your big big family.

A life lived very well with so much love. Seventeen years after the performance concluded we still stand in the balcony recalling so many acts that played out before our eyes.

We continue to stand with applause, snapping fingers and an occasional 'bravo'.

We miss you 'Dear,' 'Ma,' 'Grandma,' 'Grandma Great,' 'Honey Bun.'

To God be the glory for a life well lived!
