Remind Me

My husband says I lost a third of my brain with each child, so I'm wondering if Rach or Whitney (or anyone) can help me out. I forgot what we are suppose to journal/write for the next retreat (obviously the result of only having a third of my brain left). I would greatly appreciate a reminder.

Only 2/3's gone! Well, wait until your kids are teenagers. Your mind will be blown! :-) That's why parents get so wacky...it's all because of their kids! However, I think since Randy's home more than you, this should fall in his list of duties. He's a good writer...I read the "meditatio at the water's edge" fairly regularly. So this is what he should do: :-)
1. Keep a diary of any 5 days, but one day should tell about a day at work.
2. You should tell about everything that happens in those 5 days...from morning until night.
3. This needs to be finished by August 4, 2005.
Hope this helps you out! And really, it doesn't make a difference who writes it...just had to give Randy a hard time! :-)

If it is true that parents lose one third of their brain with each child, that will then excuse both Micki and I, as we have six. I always said that our kids got their brains from me, because I don't have mine anymore. I didn't even remember we were supposed to journal. Thanks for the reminder. Just an observation, I beleave that grandchildren do begin to restore some balance, and purpose, and meaning, and order, and chaos into our lives. Have as much fun as you can with your kids as they are growing up. Then someday you hopefully will be able to continue that with the next generation.
