ArtPrize ~ A sneak preview
Cathedral Square.
The artist is a local wood carver.
Love this.
Piano Man ~ There are twenty some of them around for you to sit and share your tunes (this one by the UI)
Rose Garden ~ named after and in honor of his grandmother who did much gardening. Cathedral Square.
Done by hand. The artist when he was young would spend endless hours building model planes.
The artist carves the design (on metal) after his wife paints it.
All glass work. The BOB parking lot.
The artist from last year who did the Moose. Very cool. Bob parking lot. ( this is not his only work)
Every day I go to work I see the miracle of birth and somehow I connect ART PRIZE with a type of birth. It may not evolve from the sperm and egg but it allows you to see what is born from the mind, heart and spirit of mankind. I find this so fascinating!
