Honey-Bud, lis'en--don't cry and fret;
Whole day tomorrow all
     untouched yet.
May see a sunset, make your heart
     shout,
Lookin'  like heaven turned
     inside-out.
Might go walkin' along o' the road,
Find a gold nugget big as a toad.
Might turn a corner any old place,
See you best friend smilin'
    right in your face.
