Good News

Mark took the test today to get his certification in project management. After taking classes for the last 18 months and spending many nights studying it has paid off. He passed!! Now we can actually have a life again - I hope anyway.

Political Correctness..... at 4 years old

Jaden and I hopped on one of the greenhouse electric carts tonight to run to the back building for something. I waited for him to sit next to me on the seat, but he just stood and said, "go Mom." He went on to explain that he wouldn't be able to fit on the seat. "I have a skinny little butt. We can fit," I replied. He then told me that he had to stand-up when he road with Poppi. "Maybe no one in the greenhouses has skinny little butts," he stated after we made the turn to the back building. "Well, maybe the hola's." Not catching what he had said, I asked him to repeat it. This time I realized what he meant. To a four-year-old, who only knows one Spanish word, the entire Latino community is "Hola's." I'm still smiling about it. :)
